Exploring the idea of helplessness and panic, this piece has been painted after the feeling of neglect, experienced when not receiving help, during a time in which I was verbally bullied, and struggled with. The head has been painted over and denied any form of clear lines or shapes, to represent the dizziness experiences during a panic attack, or when fighting the desire to self-harm.
This piece represents the origin of all the traumatic and painful experiences which the later pieces deal with.
